About the Saké International Association:
The Saké International Association is dedicated to fostering global appreciation and knowledge of Japanese Sake and Shochu. Through our educational programs, events, and member services, we aim to build a vibrant community of Sake and Shochu lovers worldwide.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Website Developer to join our team and enhance our digital presence. This role involves both maintaining our current website and developing innovative features that improve user experience and engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a passion for both technology and Japanese culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and manage the website to enhance functionality and user experience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align the website with brand strategies and to optimize content for SEO.
Implement and maintain responsive design for mobile and tablet browsing.
Ensure website security by integrating best practices and technologies.
Regularly update content and address user feedback.
Monitor website performance, analyze traffic data, and provide reports to the management team.
Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends, integrating them to improve the site as necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with content management systems, particularly WordPress.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
Proficiency in website optimization tools and cross-browser compatibility.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Interest in Japanese culture and Sake/Shochu is a plus.
