Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Wine Educator to join our team. This role involves developing educational content, conducting wine tastings and seminars, and engaging with our community to foster a deeper appreciation of wine. The ideal candidate will have a robust knowledge of wine, including its history, production, and tasting techniques, with a special emphasis on integrating this knowledge into the Japanese cultural context.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging educational programs and materials about wine, tailored to diverse audiences ranging from novices to connoisseurs.
Conduct wine tastings and educational seminars for members, industry professionals, and the public.
Collaborate with local and international vineyards to showcase a variety of wines.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and continuously enhance our educational offerings.
Represent the Japan Wine Association at industry events, seminars, and public engagements.
Assist in the curation of content for our website and publications related to wine education.

Qualifications:
Advanced certification in wine education (e.g., WSET Level 3, Certified Sommelier, or equivalent).
At least 3 years of experience in wine education or a related field.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in both English and Japanese.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Passionate about wine and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge.
Experience in event planning and management is a plus.
