About the Japan Wine Association:
The Japan Wine Association is dedicated to the promotion and education of Japanese wines, striving to enhance global awareness and appreciation of this burgeoning industry. Through seminars, tastings, and international partnerships, we aim to elevate the stature of Japanese wine on the world stage.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Japanese Wine Educator who will be instrumental in teaching and spreading awareness about the diversity and quality of Japanese wines. The ideal candidate will lead educational programs, conduct wine tastings, and represent the association at both national and international events.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and conduct educational and training programs about Japanese wines for a variety of audiences, including wine professionals, enthusiasts, and the general public.
Organize and lead wine tasting sessions that showcase the range and quality of Japanese wines.
Create informative and engaging content for our website and promotional materials.
Represent the association at wine events, seminars, and conferences, both domestically and internationally.
Collaborate with winemakers and other industry professionals to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the Japanese wine industry.
Assist in the development of marketing strategies to increase the visibility and appreciation of Japanese wines globally.
Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of oenology and viticulture, with a specialization in Japanese wines highly preferred.
Professional certification in wine education, such as WSET, CMS, or equivalent.
Experience in teaching or public speaking, with an ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Japanese.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
