Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Wine Sales Representative who is passionate about wines and has a strong understanding of the Japanese market. This role involves promoting and selling a diverse range of international wines to wholesalers, retailers, and direct consumers in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep appreciation for wine.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Japanese market.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Organize and attend wine tasting events, exhibitions, and other promotional activities.
Educate customers on the various wine offerings and their unique qualities.
Regularly report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Stay up-to-date with international wine trends and market conditions.

Bachelor degree in Sales.
Fluent in Japanese and proficient in English.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in wine sales, preferably with a focus on international or luxury brands.
Strong understanding of the wine industry and its market dynamics in Japan.
Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel within Japan.
